XPost: alt.philosophy.taoism, alt.buddha.short.fat.guy, alt.philosophy.zen       From: wudao@wuji.net              noname wrote:              > I don't believe about doors opened and closed without touching them.              Not having had such an experience, it has been said       it is impossible to believe such things are possible.              Having had such an experience, explanations vary.              Many a guru gives credit to something other than self.       Their ego appears to be uninvolved at such times.              That does not preclude them from having an ego.       Some go off the deep end and thus it can be said       the siddhis can spell trouble. They are not the goal.              Synchronicities and siddhis appear to me to appear to be       able to shake someone out of one's normal conscious-frame       works of reference. They point to how reality is unscientific.              They tend to be one-time occurrences. Yet anecdotal evidence       suggests they occur far too often to be dismissed entirely.              Loved ones appear, after having died.              From a physicalist/materialist pov, that's impossible.              From a multi-dimensional Venn-pov, it's perfectly natural.       If something happened, by necessity, it happened.              How long an astral form is able to persist can be       as a drop in a bucket-list, sewing two-speak.              Being able to recondense out of the unmanifest and return       to a physical/material so-called normal realm is most unusual.       No matter how often it's been known to happen.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
