   Interesting, but I find it unlikely that the Holy Family would still be at an   
   inn by the time the wise men arrived. From the fact that Herod killed all the   
   boys under two years of age, we can surmise that their arrival was probably a   
   year or more after the birth. By that time, Joseph would surely have found more   
   permanent accommodations.   
      
   There are lots of myths about Christmas in the popular culture, many of them   
   described in Chapter 1 of my book, "The Bible Doesn't Say."
