   == [Adam told not to eat;]
   Genesis 2:16-17

   And YHWH God lays a charge on the man, saying,
   “From every tree of the garden eating you eat;
   but from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil,
   you do not eat from it, for in the day of
   your eating from it—dying you die.”
   ==
   Genesis 3:2-[Eve says, "not touch it"]

   And the woman says to the serpent,
   “From the fruit of the trees of the garden we eat,
   but from the fruit of the tree which [is] in the
   midst of the garden, God has said,
   You do not eat of it, nor touch it, lest you die.”
   ==

   now, who added "nor touch it?"

   God is not the author of confusion [1 Corinthians 14:32-34]

   the one conclusion, is, that God tells Adam, and Adam tells Eve

   Eve is getting what amounts to a hearsay from Adam, and not a direct reveal,

   as we never actually see God speaking to Eve.

   and The Serpent played on that bit of confusion

   The Serpent is the one who outright Lied against God.

   it isn't all about Man, The Serpent is getting a lesson.

   > so? well, Adam was not just sitting there
   > itching to do what God had told him not to do.
   > no, he did it cuz Eve got tricked into doing it.

   > once again, seems more like unintentional and not scornful intent.
   > the One who had the scornful intent was...The Serpent

   >> so, what -would- have happened had Adam took a bite from Plan A?

   >> but, we -should- _not_ suggest that Adam was forced to take
   >> from that other tree, and that it was the ONLY possible outcome,
   >>   just because that's what did happen.

   >> that's an assumption that need not be made.

   >> Adam had every opportunity to take from the Tree of Life.

   >> trouble is, after the fact, he starts stitching together
   >> a stream of excuses and cover ups from the fig.
