It was not long before sunset and only for a few seconds,
but still I don't plan to repeat it. But there is a
group of people called sungazers now who do sungazing
regularly (just google sungazing). They weren't much
   interested in my experiences though.

No I wasn't. I speculate that that was because I
am extremely short-sighted and was without glasses
or contacts so the sun's image didn't form on my retina,
and because I didn't do it very long although it
   seemed longer than it was.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Vatican had secret information
that Jesus did do a sun stare and later had a blue rose
vision while on the thorns, like me. But I'm not about
   to tweet the pope.

But the only difference between the story of Jesus's baptism
and my experience is that in his case he was said to have
rose up from the water and then the heavens opened and
wings descended, and in my case the heavens opened and
wings descended and then I fell into the water (and
then rose up from the water and pulled on a fisherman's
net and then ascended the thorns and had a blue rose vision).

Thanks for the feedback, LInda, and for the prayer.
