XPost: alt.occult.methods, alt.paranormal, alt.psychology.jung       XPost: uk.rec.psychic       From: OxEx77@neolenz.net              SUMMARY       In early summer 2013 I had a powerful experience where I nonverbally       projected thoughts and/or feelings to another person and am looking for an       explanation of what happened based on the information I provide below below.                     BACKGROUND/INTRO       I am a man in my late 40s, who works in an isolated office setting and have       the luxury of listening to internet radio or music on YouTube while I work.              One day, while on my lunch break I was looking for some relaxing music when       I stumbled upon a short YouTube recording that promised to subliminally       attract love. I got a kick out of the idea, but did not take it seriously.       I figured “what the heck” and did my noontime meditation while I listened       for 10 minutes with my headphones. After lunch I forgot all about it for       the rest of the work day.                     DENTAL VISIT STARTS OUT NORMAL       I had a routine dental appointment that day and departed work and arrived at       the dentist about 20 minutes early. A bit tired, I was successful in taking       a 10 minute power nap in my car before I entered the office.              It was not long before the hygienist greeted me and began her ritual of       scraping and cleaning. After the cleaning, the dentist, a very attractive       woman in her early 40s, conducted an inspection of my teeth and gums that       went well.              The dentist briefly left the room and the hygienist took care of final       matters: next appointment, complimentary toothbrush and floss. Then she       tilted the chair up and I stood up and turned around facing the dentist as       she returned to the room.                     DENTAL VISIT GETS STRANGE       I put on my eyeglasses, listening to my dentist speak about various aspects       of camping and how much she enjoys it. This is when my “extrasensory       event”       began.              As she talked I was politely nodding and smiling when something hit me out       of the blue. A summary of my thought process follows:       “Wow, she’s really very pretty (quiet thought)       I’d really like to f*** her (another quiet thought)       I’D REALLY LIKE TO F*** HER!!! (A HUGE LOUD, ROOM FILLING THOUGHT!)”              I was stunned at how “loud” the thoughts were, so loud that I was afraid       that somebody heard me, though I did not udder a word. Then I felt a       physical lust for her well up from my heart followed by an equally strong       “love vibe” as if we were actually in the act of lovemaking. These       thoughts       transpired in less than five seconds, and happened spontaneously without my       intent.       I almost felt like I had released a wave of “thought form” from my body       that       filled the room. Or, at least, was released directly to the dentist.              I told myself, “that’s ridiculous, no one can hear you, you didn’t say       anything, you only thought it.” Still, I expected a strong disapproving       glare from the dentist, even though I had said nothing nor made any body or       facial expressions, nor was there flirting.              The dentist talked for a few more seconds. Then abrupt silence as she       turned her head to her right and downward, smiling, and appearing to be       having a pleasurable daydream, totally lost in the perspective that she had       the audience of both me and her hygienist in front of her.              Next, there was a look of confusion on her face as if to say, “why am I       thinking about that!?! “ Then she appeared sequentially appalled, ashamed,       upset and about to cry. She shook her head as if to remove her thoughts.       Just when I thought she was going to “lose it” completely, she regained her       composure and returned somewhat awkwardly to the camping topic.              I would guess that her reaction took only 12-15 seconds, but it seemed like       forever because I felt like I she was going to call me out on my       inappropriate thoughts. Fortunately, the glare I expected (and deserved)       never happened so I don’t think she suspected that I was the source. Who       knows, maybe I wasn’t the source.                     YOUR INPUT APPRECIATED       I have always been open-minded about ESP and supernatural events though I       have held a healthy skepticism as well. I am not a person who is gifted in       this area, but I am curious. That said, I would be interested in your       thoughts and theories regarding how in the heck something like this could       happen. It is not supposed to be possible. Could this be telepathy or       something to do with quantum physics?              I feel certain that subliminal programming works for some people, but I       figured it worked through projecting confidence and self-love that was the       attractor. But this was different. It seemed like whatever-it-was caused       me to actually zap the dentist with love vibes that were very similar to       what I was feeling. Weird.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
