To test for the validity of astrology, I suggest conducting a scientific study   
   linking people with astrological placements to professions that belong to   
   their signs.   
      
   There are fields ruled by Virgo (computer science); fields ruled by Libra (the   
   law); fields ruled by Scorpio (psychiatry); fields ruled by Aquarius   
   (science); fields ruled by Taurus (banking); fields ruled by Capricorn   
   (engineering); and further on along    
   the same line. I suggest doing this:   
      
   Finding out people's placements of their Sun, their Moon and their Pluto and   
   seeing if there is a correlation between these placements and their career   
   paths.   
      
   A chance result will see one in four people in every professional field having   
   a placement in any given sign. A result in which we see more than one in four   
   people in any given professional field having a placement in the sign will be   
   significant. This    
   can be done with minimal effort in an academic setting, or outside of an   
   academic setting.   
      
   I highly recommend that this study be undertaken to either validate or   
   invalidate astrology.
