   The theists, particularly the ones who post their wack-a-loonery in a.a.   
   and t.a. and similar groups are fond of going after gays, but why aren't   
   these theists stoning gays to death, as the bible explicitly commands   
   them to do?   
      
   I know there are certain blind assteros who post here who think that   
   Jesus overturned "god's word" with his new teachings, but there never was   
   any Jesus Christ, miracle-working son of a god (at least not according to   
   all the available evidence), and the New Testament does not say he came   
   to overturn the old law.  On the contrary, it states explicitly: "For   
   verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle   
   shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." (Matthew   
   5:18).   
      
   In short, Jesus did not come to change the old law.   
      
   "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed   
   an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon   
   them." (Leviticus 20:13)   
      
   So back to my original question: Why are theists not stoning gays?  Their   
   own god DEMANDED that they should, so why do they defy their god?   
      
   I'll tell you why - because their morality explicitly does NOT derive   
   from their Bible, and all Christians are hypocrites.  They preach one   
   thing - the Bible is god's word - and do another - like, whatever they   
   think they can get away with!
