|    Twelve Days of Xmas - Day 12 Evolution    |

XPost: alt.atheism, alt.talk.creationism       From: Budikka1@netscape.net              The twelve days of Xmas actually start on Xmas day, but this is a       countdown to Xmas showing why the young-Earth creationists are clueless.              David Attenborough narrated a series titled "Life Story" this year, and       every episode of it is a direct indictment of Creationism. The only way       any of this makes sense is because there was, in fact, not a creation,       but evolution.              Consider, for example, the Barnacle goose, featured in the very first       episode.              The goslings enter life hatched from eggs laid tens of feet to hundreds       of feet up a cliff. The only way they can get down is to simply leap       over the edge of the cliff.              They have about a three in five chance of survival, and they can survive       the fall if they're lucky because they're so light, and they have a small       amount of aerodynamism produced by their stubby wings which are useless       for flight at that age.              Unfortunately, in the documentary in one instance three of the goslings       survived the plummet, only to be eaten by a fox as soon as they reached       the bottom.              The moronic creationists want us to believe that an infinitely loving god       purposefully created this. Bullshit. They dickheads one and all, and       that's all there is to creationism.              Budikka - highlighting the 'mental' in fundamentalism.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
