   The twelve days of Xmas actually start on Xmas day, but this is a   
   countdown to Xmas showing why Xmas is as senseless as it is stupid as a   
   Christian death-cult ritual.   
      
   why are we given no explanation as to why what's required actually is   
   required?   
      
   We get no explanation as to why this omnipotent god failed to defeat the   
   very evil he created and the only method he could find was to slaughter   
   his own son - who wasn't really killed anyway because he was immortal?   
   Why was any of that necessary?   
      
   And why must we do what the Bible claims we have to do - be obedient an   
   submissive to this god?  What difference does it make in the grand scheme   
   of things what the hell we do - in the endless massiveness of the   
   universe and the boundless expanse of eternity?   
      
   There's no explanation ever offered for this.  We're just supposed to   
   blindly follow like sheep or slaves.  Who wants to live in slavery for   
   eternity?  Why create people with a mind which seeks understanding and   
   demands explanations and then offer nothing?!   
      
   Religion makes no sense when you _think_ about it.
