|    Twelve Days of Xmas - Day 6 Christianity    |

XPost: alt.atheism, alt.talk.creationism       From: Budikka1@netscape.net              The twelve days of Xmas actually start on Xmas day, but this is a       countdown to Xmas showing why Xmas is as senseless as it is stupid as a       Christian death-cult ritual.              Today's question is: why would a loving god demand a blood sacrifice?       This is in keeping with the Old Testament psychotic god who is one of the       most blood-thirsty gods in all of invention, but it makes no sense       whatsoever in the context of the New Testament! If someone who loves you       demanded your blood for no reason, would you consider that loving - or       normal even? No!              The very fact that this god is a throwback to the brutal savagery of the       OT is more than reason enough to ditch this whole idea as nothing more       than primitive, superstitious nonsense born of nothing more than       ignorance.              Budikka - highlighting the 'mental' in fundamentalism.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
