      CAMBRIDGE, U.K.(Rueters) -- Bet   
   you'll never guess who has become   
   the newest member of the Ed Conrad   
   Fan Club.   
      
      If you happened to guess Stephen   
   Hawking, you'd be perfectly right.   
      
      The world-renowned theoretical   
   physicist, cosmologist, author and   
   director of research at the Center   
   for Theoretical Cosmology within   
   the University of Cambridge signed   
   on this morning.   
      
      "Let's put it this way: Steve's   
   a really smart guy but we didn't   
   realize he was THIS SMART," said   
   Ed Conrad, the club's founder and   
   extremely popular icon.   
      
      With yesterday's addition of   
   Paul "PZ" Myers, the distInguished   
   pseudo-scientist, the Ed Conrad   
   Fan Club now boasts 10,001 members.   
      
      Concerning Hawking, neither he   
   nor the president of Cambridge   
   University, nor any member of   
   the Royal Family could be reached   
   for comment.
