I mean,       it'll be four years come this February but, but I was       wrong, or misinformed -- but every time you post this stuff       I think of Michael Moore.              At one time, before he dared criticize the Gwobull Warbling       scriptures, he was the darling of the left and Public Enemy       #1 amongst the Reich wing. And in one of his books he was       blasting our government's priorities, threw out some massive       figure for military spending, using it to illustrate the       waste. Well. The ReichTards ATTACKED Michael Moore because       that figure he used, what be said the military budget WOULD       BE was considerably less than Dubya Bush ended up spending.       And the Reich insisted this "Proved" how bad Michael Moore       was.              Which was retarded.              Because Michael Moore's point wasn't a specific dollar figure,       it was that we were spending too much. And the fact that we       had actually spent a great deal more than was originally       projected FURTHERED HIS POINT.              Alright, why do you remind me of him?              Because, think of this:              If it was absolutely positively beyond the shadow of a doubt       PROVEN to the satisfaction of everyone that there are 411       alien species in our solar system -- AND ONLY 411 SPECIES --       would you really be disappointed?              Are you honestly married to a specific number?              I doubt it, so why bother with specific numbers at all?              If there was 100 alien species, or 57, I couldn't imagine       anyone not calling that a "Win" for you...              So by being specific with such a large number you not only       come across as batty but, twats are going to attack you no       matter what.... EVEN IF IT'S PROVEN THAT THERE ARE ALIENS       IN OUR SOLAR SYSTEM!              "Yeah, but there's only 50 and he said 822, so he's stupid       and a liar or both plus something else."              Less is more, dude.                                                                             --       https://jtem.tumblr.com/tagged/The%20Book%20of%20JTEM/page/5              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
