|    Homo habilis hunted as prey, so what?    |

From: rokimoto557@gmail.com              https://scienceandculture.com/2025/09/not-a-turning-point-study-       inds-homo-habilis-was-hunted-as-prey/              The ID perps are trying to make a big deal about the evidence that Homo       habilis was sometimes eaten by leopards. For some reason this means       that they were not Homo. It is a stupid claim. They seem to just want       to claim that Homo did not evolve from Australopithicines. H. habilis       is likely the perfect intermediate between Australopithecines and Homo       erectus. It had the parabolic jaw of Homo with a brain significantly       larger than Australopithecines. It was still partially arboreal because       it had Australopithecine limb proportions (longer arms and shorter       legs), while H. erectus had modern human limb proportions.              Why wouldn't H. habilis have been eaten by leopards? There is no       indication that they were apex predators. Even H. erectus never       developed stone spear points and the best that they might have had were       sharpened sticks, and maybe clubs. The H. erectus hand axes were thought       to have been used to dig out roots and tubers. The flake tools were       likely used to cut up meat and process hides.              This seems to be an example of how pathetically lame ID has become.       This kind of junk is more important to them than demonstrating that the       ID science actually exists.              They put out their Top Six best evidences for ID back in 2017, shouldn't       they have some type of review about how well they have done with that       evidence by now? Those Top Six were all used by the scientific       creationists long before the ID scam started with the creation of the       Discovery Institute's ID scam unit. Really, the Scientific creationists       had their gap denial arguments about the Big Bang, find tuning, the       origin of life, the flagellum as a designed machine, the Cambrian       explosion, and gaps in the fossil record by the beginning of the 1980's.              The only thing that they seem to have done with the Top Six is remove       IC, the Cambrian explosion and the Big Bang from the list and put the       rest out of temporal order so they can keep fooling the rubes with the       junk. It has been 8 years. What progress have they made with what       remains of the Top Six?              Ron Okimoto              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
