   Thank you John for your thoughts.  It never occurred to me to consider   
   why God would create a universe like ours.  Now I don't have to.  He did   
   it on a whim!  Brilliant!

   Obviously, anyone who could create the universe on a whim might get   
   another whim to do any of the other things you suggest.
