   No, last night’s attempt failed.

I am trying again tonight, not long after the first moonrise
after the exact time of full moon.

It is Vesak, or Buddha Day, which leads me to believe that
   tonight’s attempt won’t be successful, since I hadn’t
expected any correlation with an existing religious holiday.

But anyway, happy Vesak to any Buddhist readers.
(It is still 9:31 p.m. May 12 here in Newfoundland.)
