   	Big snip

Especially if they are crimes created by foolish legislators
to fulfill aims of bureaucratic law enforcement organizations by
turning commerce into criminal hands. The laws against certain drugs
were passed to improve society but have failed in that regard as we
have broken up families to save them from drug use. The turf wars with
many casualties to innocent bystanders as well as police and criminals
could not have happened without drug prohibitions.

Instead we have a bloated law enforcement agency that has
sponsored violations of the right to privacy and the right to
property. The expenses of this sort of moralistic battle are rather
high for the taxpayer as he/she must pay for capture, prosecution
and incarceration of people who have not for the most part harmed
   anyone but themselves.

Do you support drug prohibition because it finances criminals
at home or because it finances terrorists abroad?
