   I happen to know women who have been raped whose rapists were found "not   
   guilty" because not enough jurors could be convinced to convict them despite   
   overwhelming evidence.   
      
   I also know women who have not testified because they were too afraid the   
   rapist would not be found guilty and then would come back to rape again.   
      
   I do not know anyone who has ever been falsely accused of rape and then   
   convicted.
