   I think you'd agree that doctors have moved on a little since then.   
   Else you'd refuse cancer treatment, organ transplant and IVF on the

   Ok, hands up, I read this poorly written bit:   
      
   "Conditions resulting in the vitamin deficiency and its effects include   
   chronic alcoholism,and severe malnutrition."   
      
   *as*   
      
   "and its effect include alcoholism"   
      
   Think there's a comma or semicolon missing after 'effects'!   
      
   Think they meant:   
   Conditions resulting in the vitamin deficiency and its effects; which   
   include chronic alcoholism and severe malnutrition.   
      
      
   Anyway, so alcohol causes mental heath problem - we know that. In this   
   case tho it is potentially reversible.
