DTs actually Delirium Tremens happen when you stop drinking and
they happen to people who are not aware of the
brain damage done. One of my best friends had to be talked thru
the process and he sobered up after that though it took him
   a while.

I have been a boozer but I quit as soon as my doctor told me I
had better things to do with my liver.
