The proposed bill in Massachusetts for legalizing and taxing Marijuana taxes
an ounce at $150, $200, and $250 depending upon the
   percentage of THC.
This is far too high in my opinion, and what's more interesting is that a
cultivation license only costs $500 per year.
Any idiot could grow their own with a minimal investment in indoor equipment,
and with no investment at all for outdoor growing.
I don't see the state making a whole lot of money with those tax rates, people
are going to simply grow their own.
