   Actually, all the prohibitions in the Old Testament were given to the Jews.   
   Most Christians don't follow Old Testament laws against eating pork (or other   
   "unclean" foods) or mixing fibers in our clothing or shunning women when they   
   are having their period, etc.   
      
   And even Jesus the Christ condensed the Ten Commandments into two: Love the   
   Lord above all others and treat your neighbor as you would have your neighbor   
   treat you.   
      
   There's a lot of argument about "Christian" behavior (even the New Testament   
   contains some disagreement about that) but I would say in general that   
   "Christian" behavior would tend towards tolerance.
