   You forgot all the administrative jobs. Entire towns are totally   
   dependent upon the war on Mary Jane and friends. And in NYS, for one,   
   the inmates are added to the population of said towns for purposes of   
   representation in the State Legislature, and the townies, of course, are   
   going to vote for increased punitive measures because legalization would   
   be a disaster for the town and real estate owners therein.
