Actually agitation against the Hemp Tax Act of 1937 started in the
1940s with LEMAC. Movie starts were getting busted along with writers
and jazz musician not all of them black. Allan Ginsburg gave up using
cannabis when he started advocating for legalization.

How do you know how much Catholics think about Mary?
You are hanging with some dense potheads though who talk
a lot about what they should keep quiet about until the law changes.

Staying high is impossible in any event due to basic matters of
physiology. I know some people have tried to stay high but they
   generally have problems with that.

I think they will be happier. For example has booze fallen
into disuse because of the end of Alcohol Prohibition?

I think more cannabis users will be happy because they
will be able to buy whatever they can afford without the worry
as at present that the man will come down and take them away
or that the boss will use use on their days off to take away their
job. I think the price of non-smoking utensils will go down as they
can be advertised in the mainstream media and sold OTC,

The thrill of breaking the law is easily obtained by jay walking
   or double parking.
