Alcohol is much more dangerous to the brain. There have been studies on long
term users and they found that long term users who were still using had some
minor deficits, but if they quit using for a week or two those deficits went
   away.

The primary harm from marijuana is due to the fact that it is illegal, which
is not an intrinsic quality of the substance itself.

As a matter of fact, the active ingredients in marijuana have been found to
   have neuroprotective qualities.

Sorry, I prefer to get my information from scientific research -- not from
Cheech & Chong movies and sketches.
