   	That is short sighted.  No sugar has the vitamins contained   
   naturally in brown rice.  Enough vitamins to prevent beri-beri which   
   apparently killed more than one Japanese ruler in the 19th Century.   
   Vitamin B was not discovered until the teens of the 20th Century.
