   Are you unaware that marijuana, unlike any of the other things you   
   mention, can be grown and smoked without any additional processing?   
   The only other thing that even comes close is opium, and that requires   
   more fuss than most are willing to undertake. Your "slippery slope"   
   just isn't very slippery.
