    Well I don't know what today's young
people know about proof versus percentage or
if they have been made aware of the effects
of combining drugs that depress the respiratory
   reflex.

The impression I got was that this
was not for a party but drinking the whole
can by one's self was considered de rigor.
This from a brief TV interview with a
user. I doubt very much that anyone
pulled out a calculator and figured out
the actually amount of alcohol in the
can. I mean here take a ounce of vodka
or other tasteless high proof liqour and
dump in your coffee and have three in
a row or if the vodka ain't so high
proof figure out how much you have
to drink to get an ounce and then
toss in some Taurine 500 mg caps
and see how long you are conscious.

They think Taurine is a stimulant
but I take 2 or 3 caps to get a full
   night's rest. Personal medication
idiosyncrasy, on my part I guess.

    Cannot use caffeine in ordinary
doses as in No-Doz or in just plain
coffee as it has an effect closer
to amphetamines on me, another personal
   medication idiosyncrasy.

    I took dextroamphetamine to stay
awake at night at work but that was when
it ways much more tolerated by the
FDA for physicians to prescribe it.
I made a few bad decisions on non-work
nights when I stayed awake to party.

    Youth was such fun.

    later
bliss that tired old nurse in San Francisco.
