   The theory amongst those given to a literal interpretation of the   
   Noaichian flood/deluge account is that Chinese and South Asians are a

   One can argue this if they like, but it is interesting to note that   
   the ancient chinese word for "ship" is actually depicted using two   
   symbols that when combined, literally translate as "8 mouths", or   
   "persons", conveniently similar to a significant detail of the flood   
   account. (Noah, his wife, 3 sons and their wives = 8 persons).
