XPost: alt.recovery.aa       From: invalid@invalid.net              Must've been age 9 when they presented a TV documentary about the dangers       of drugs. Scared the shit outta me. The message stayed with me and for       that reason I've never used. I've heard people talk about crack and crank       and smack and grass but you could lay out all the various drugs in front of       me and I wouldn't know whether to eat them, smoke them, stick them up my       nose, or jam them up my ass. Just not interested.              To be fair, the peer pressure to use wasn't quite as bad when I was a teen       in the late 50s and early 60s, but there was some pressure. Recall some of       my knucklehead buddies trying to get me to use some shit called red devils       and yellow jackets or something. Fuck off.              One time I had four wisdom teeth yanked in one sitting and the DDS wrote me       a prescription for some dope. Took one pill and literally thought I was       walking on air. Unbelievable. Threw the rest in the garbage. No dope for       this cat.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
