Us Texas boyoz might stand helplessly in awe of Florida novelists like
Carl Hiaasen, Les Standiford et al except ever TXbod knows where's the
vast swamp city of Houston & from there 'tis only 50 miles Southward
to Galveston Island & in turn from there one (or better two, the
latter party being female, of course) can thumb via the free ferry
Eastward NOLAwards. (My last personal info thereon being ~40 yrs old
   might need updaring.)

MOS = "Moral Of the Story" = Long as a body's got at least one entire
5/th bottle of Barcardi Red Label for each adult male of the
household, then one's OK, both Coca-Cola & lemons being relatively
available 24/7. Peyote, LSD & 'Shrooms all much better, of course,
but by that very reason harder to lay hands on.
