The Death Penalty is about Killing the Killer.

The Death Penalty is about Murdering the Murderer.

   Just saying.

   Trying to kill death.

   Trying to murder murder.

Is that not what all anger *is* to a lesser degree? But an attempt to stop
   the violent with violence?

And are not all punishment and vengeance and accusations of guilt, the
   *result* of _anger_?

   :{ ANGER :{

a better solution for the individual than sadness or guilt, or fear, except
in the results of its expression.

No Sadness & No Guilt & No Fear & No Anger = Forgiveness.

No one deserves punishment. Those who have not victimized others
bodies and properties deserve it even less =)

   Everyone deserves freedom from injustice.

   Victims deserve recompenses.

But what do you gain out of vengeance?

What do you get out of purchasing punishment?

Military activities must have an objective. You have a right to fight for
   freedom and self defense.

But objectives can be achieved peacefully or violently. Freedom and perhaps
even self defense can sometimes be achieved peacefully. So the most
advantageous strategy must be pursued giving weight to humanity if
strategies are equal, i.e. choosing of peacefully achieving an objective if
   possible.

Some stupid law enforcement may think they convince people of opinion
through violence, but that's not any intelligent person's position. It may
   be some stupid people's position.

If people believe might makes them right, then I suppose they could be
convinced they were not right when violence is used against them. Perhaps
this would be called "Justice," so that their lie does not otherwise
persist, but most crimes today do not involve people claiming to be right
because of their power. A relatively few probably do.

so do I have any point

It's okay to get angry so long as you can manage your anger. If you can't,
you need anger management. Just like some girls can turn their tears on and
off angry people need to be able to turn anger on and off. Tears and anger
are both expressions of someone who is upset. It's not good to suppress
your upset. But it is good to be in control of it.
