Sorry for my cynicism but your little speech there
was given repeatedly in the 1960s and later by the dear
Doctor Timothy Leary and his acolytes. You only will
be happy living forever or even 200 years if your health
is basically good. My health has been undermined by
my long deterioration under SEID and I will explain that
when i overexert myself I end up sicker and with less
endurance and strength. Sadly it is hard for a person
without more extensive financial resources than mine
    to avoid over-exertion.
Also SEID makes you dumber every time
you overexert. I managed to walk 20 blocks in two
pieces on Wednesday, in between the first 13 blocks
and the last 7, I rested for about an hour maybe
two and then went out again and when I got home
fixed a snack and fell into bed.
On Thursday I rode 3 buses and a street car
with a really stiff walk up one hill (that was not
actually required) to sit down for 4 hours while
I coaxed a old Toshiba Satellite laptop into
accepting a new OS after backing up the users
"/home". I was given a ride home by grateful user
and when I got in I fixed that snack and fell
into bed. One of my pals got back to town that
evening and he owns a car and is happy to help
with my errands so I have a lot more energy this
   evening.
The effects on my brain were a lot worse
in the early days as I tried to continue my
   youthful exercises and consistently over-exerted
myself. I got extremely dumb and it took me a
long and corroboration by other suffering people
before I figured it out and spent afternoons
resting in bed, then the head started to clear.
