XPost: ca.general, ca.politics, alt.california       XPost: alt.abortion, alt.drugs.abuse       From: RegulationReform@USA.com              Cigarettes and Alcohol and drugs not marketed with known medicinal merit, and       yet       having potential recreational use, should be stocked in a separate room of the       store, out of the sight / out of mind, through a separate door or curtain, or       even       through a separate exterior door, and they ought to carry the following       warnings       and more:              WARNING:       POISON!       MEDICINE!       NOT FOR RECREATIONAL CONSUMPTION!       NOT ILLEGAL TO CONSUME RECREATIONALLY!              Freedom's great, but drug abuse is tragic. For every day you use drugs or       alcohol       recreationally, don't use for three days. Thus stay just this side of       alcoholism,       etc. 165 million Americans use alcohol. 25 million or 15% have 10 or more       drinks       per day. This is tragic and ludicrous. Twice per week is the max to party on       any       drug. Twice per month is better. There is a difference between use and       abuse. A       huge difference. A huge huge difference. And sobriety is an excellent choice.       People should have to buy breathalyzers before they can purchase alcohol with a       drivers license. A good policy is to not drive after even one drink or any       drug       use. Take a cab. The Constitution guarantees equal protection, and the       drinking       age should be eliminated and child rights recognized.              People have rights. They're born right, not wrong.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
