XPost: sac.politics, alt.fan.sean-hannity, free.racist.maxine.waters       XPost: alt.journalism.newspapers       From: fuck.joe.biden@dns-netz.com              CVS Pharmacy has decided to close two stores in the heavily       trafficked Mid-Market and Polk Gulch neighborhoods.              Chronicle reporter J.K. Dineen noticed a bare-bones sign on the       storefront at 995 Market St. Thursday. "STORE CLOSED. THANKS!"       reads the 8.5 x 11 sheet of printer paper. The store's phone       number also appeared to be disconnected.              The CVS was located on the ground floor of a building on the       corner of Sixth and Market streets. Above the CVS is a WeWork co-       working space.              According to Hoodline, the location opened in September 2015.              The second shuttered location was at 1285 Sutter St., on the       corner of Van Ness and Sutter.              "CVS Pharmacy has made the difficult business decision to close       our stores at 995 Market St and 1285 Sutter St in San Francisco       on April 2," the company said in a statement to SFGATE. "We will       continue to serve local customers at our nearby CVS Pharmacy       locations, and will work with employees affected by the store       closing to place them in other available positions in our       company."              CVS declined to detail why it decided to close the stores, but       Yelp reviews of the Market Street location complained of empty       store shelves, too many items locked up behind protective glass,       and theft problems. Reviews of the Sutter Street store tended to       be more positive.              If for some reason you're really bummed about this news and are       worried about getting your CVS fix, fear not. There's another       location nearby at 7th and Market.              https://www.sfgate.com/local-donotuse/article/CVS-closed-san-       francisco-market-street-hours-13760626.php              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
