XPost: talk.politics.guns, talk.politics.misc, misc.survivalism       XPost: alt.politics.democrats, alt.politics, uk.politics.misc       From: earlduggan1@yahoo.com              Proving again that absurd superstition and illogic have replaced science and       common sense amoung the ignorant anti-science climate change deniers.              Hateful, Racist Fringe Rightist Republican Leaders Turn Their Backs On The       Deaths Of Christian Missionaries, Thousands of Women and Children                     Radical right wing fanatic Pat Robertson's Haiti comments not just       inflammatory but hurtful as well       15 January, 2010              Washington: January 15: Pat Robertson Haiti comments not just inflammatory but       hurtful as well. Pat Robertson Haiti comments were very irresponsible. The       evangelist entrepreneur is known for making such outrageous comments.              Apparently he has no reverence for the human life and thought not even for a       second before making a statement that has hurt the whole Haitian people.              Around ten million Haitian people who are just beginning to realize the       magnitude of the devastation are devastated by a person who thinks he is a       true Christian.              He has always tried to be in the news by making ludicrous statements about one       or the other. His statements on Islam were big issue when he made those       laughable statements.              Robertson is a serial entrepreneur and has founded media organizations to       universities and NGOs of different hues.              In September 1986, Robertson announced his intention to seek the Republican       nomination for President of the United States. Robertson said he would pursue       the nomination only if three million people signed up to volunteer for his       campaign by September 1987. Three million responded, and by the time Robertson       announced he would be running in September 1987, he also had raised millions       of dollars for his campaign fund. He surrendered his ministerial credentials       and turned leadership of CBN over to his son, Tim. His campaign, however,       against incumbent Vice President George H. W. Bush, was seen as a long shot.              Meanwhile U.S. and international efforts to help Haiti recover from a       devastating earthquake will "likely be a very long mission," the White House       said Thursday.              White House spokesman Robert Gibbs told reporters in a press briefing that the       Obama administration is doing everything it can to get resources, rescue       teams, and personnel to immediately respond in the aftermath of the       devastating earthquake that struck the Caribbean island nation Tuesday.              "There's a window of time whereby we have the greatest ability to impact the       search-and-rescue portion of what's likely to be a very long mission for the       international community, in dealing with the devastation that we've seen,"       Gibbs said.              However there are "logistical hurdles" the administration has come across,       particularly in sending the much-needed supplies to Haiti as quickly as       possible.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
