   Well yeah, that should be obvious. I don't know if liberal types   
   sometimes make that accusation as an attempt to discredit   
   libertarianism or if they're just plain ignorant.

   Yes, freedom of speech used to be the one right liberals always   
   supported, but in recent years many have favored serious limitations   
   based on the "hate speech" excuse and some others. There was that   
   one guy arrested and convicted for driving his truck with a noose on   
   it, and a fair number of newspapers, especially college papers,   
   censor anything that might be construed as offending homosexuals or   
   other minority groups.   
      
   I've always said that people support the rights that are important   
   to them but don't care much if it's a right (like gun rights) that's   
   affects something they're not interested in.
