   The democratic party and its base have pushed too many people *out* for   
   not being "progressive enough" or not being "inclussive enough", on top   
   of that the campaing was run on demonicing the same base they were   
   supposed to bring to their side without realizing you cannot bully   
   people into compliance, at most you will bully them into lying to the   
   polls (a thing that actually happened).   
      
   I am intentionally leaving the alecations of corruption out, even though   
   there is evidence that happened and that it also cost them votes.   
      
   They did this to themselves. No one else to blame.
