   The older of the brothers, Johnson, it was gathered, is the lead

   Two blood brothers, Johnson and Emmanuel Efenaghor, have been   
   arrested by policemen attached to the 'B' Division Police   
   Station, Warri, Delta State, for allegedly practicing   
   homosexuality.

   The arrest of the siblings was made possible when a young man   
   they reportedly sodomised forcefully, laid a complaint to the   
   police.   
      
   The victim, Kelvin Williams, according to the police, was   
   sexually molested and defiled by the brothers who are said to   
   have been indulging in the act for many years without the   
   knowledge of their parents.

   Emmanuel on the other hand, could not come out to tell anyone   
   because his elder brother had threatened to kill him if he   
   should reveal the secret.   
      
   However, unable to bear what was being done to him and the   
   constant threat to his life by the brothers if he ever backed   
   out, Williams summoned the courage to tell the police.   
      
   He told the police that his ordeal began in July when Johnson   
   stopped him on his way to visit his father at Odion Road, Warri,   
   and told him that he was handsome and would like both of them to   
   become friends.   
      
   "Johnson persuaded me to come to his house and sleep over, but   
   assured me he had no ulterior motive and I agreed. But in the   
   night, he did all he could to lure me into the sin of sodomy but   
   I refused. Then he and his brother forcefully had sex with me   
   through the anus and after that, vowed to kill me if I ever told   
   anyone.   
      
   But I decided to tell the police because I knew that   
   homosexuality is an offence. Second, my grandfather is a pastor   
   and I live with him. Even when I told him that I arrested   
   somebody, he didn’t believe me. My grandfather is a pastor and I   
   didn’t grow up with street life.”   
      
   Johnson who is now in police detention, admitted to initiating   
   his brother as well as Williams into homosexuality.   
      
   He said he was introduced into the act by a Jehovah Witness man   
   who came to preach to him in Lagos three years ago, pleading for   
   mercy from the police while promising not to indulge in the act   
   again.
