   Second arson attack on diplomatic car in two days in Greece

   A second arson attack against a diplomatic car in as many days was   
   reported by Greek police on April 15. Targets of both attacks were cars   
   belonging to the Saudi Arabian embassy, international news sources say.   
   There were no injuries or arrests.   
      
   Responsibility for the first attack had been claimed by an anarchist   
   group that called itself the "Subversive Cell". The second attack was   
   claimed by a different anarchist group calling itself Anti-State Action.   
      
   In both attacks the arsonists used gas canister devices.   
      
   No motives were given for the attack, Agence France-Presse (AFP) said.   
   According to Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) however, the attacks had   
   been carried out in support of a man who was accused of a robbery of the   
   National Bank in 2007. BNR said Greek authorities were expected to   
   announce on April 15 whether preliminary arrest of the man would be   
   prolonged.   
      
   Diplomatic cars, international companies, banks and government   
   departments are frequent targets of arson attacks in Greece, most are   
   blamed on extreme-left or anarchist groups.
