   The Americans wanted everyone else to open their markets, especially the   
   poor countries, so they could sell and hence guarantee control of food   
   ergo control the country via American GM crop seed. Many saw this   
   "opening of markets" for what it was, told them to f-off. Talks collapse.   
      
   EU consumers will still pay through the nose for their food because of   
   food subsidies to EU farmers.
