XPost: soc.culture.turkish, soc.culture.europe, soc.culture.russian       From: kirill@university.ca              Ali Asker wrote:              Do a report on the totalitarian EU, US and Canadian media and their       ridiculous coverage of the attack by Saakashvili on South Ossetian civilians.       This collection of propagandists thinks that an artillery and MLRS barrage       lasting       for over FOUR HOURS on Tskhinvali is legitimate but the bombing of military       targets       and a railway bridge is a big crime. Even some brush fires were being yapped       about.       This same media made it look as if the NATO double attack on the Grdelica       bridge in       Serbia in 1999 while a passenger train was crossing was legitimate. The       obviously       sped up tape showing the first attack was the big excuse: "the train was going       too       fast". But the second attack when the train was already stopped on the bridge       was       not even addressed.              This is NATO standard procedure to bomb civilian targets twice with a delay to       make       sure any firemen and other rescuers get killed. The NATO media is a full time       lie factory tasked to demonize countries, peoples and individuals whom NATO       wants       to coerce and dominate or eliminate. To wit, the endless blathering how South       Ossetians       are secessionists (as if they are all a bunch of blood thirsty militants even       though       the secessionist fighting was over in 1992) and their eyewitness reports of the       Georgian barrage and subsequent atrocities (e.g. throwing grenades into       basements       full of people seeking shelter from the bombing, direct tank fire on cars with       refugees, and running down of civilians fleeing on foot) is all hearsay and       propaganda. There was NEVER any such questioning of the stories by Kosovo       Albanian       refugees in 1999.              > Third Quarterly Media Monitoring Report: Full Text       > According to the quarterly report of the Bia Media Monitoring Desk, relating       > to events in July, August and September 2007, 125 people, most of them       > journalists, and six media institutions have been tried for expressing their       > thoughts freely.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
