From: leonard-abbott@webtv.net              Whats wrong with being a Racist?              i want to preserve the heritage of my country              i want America jobs and housing for my countrymen              i dont want people from third world countries with different morals and       outlooks living in my country              i do not wish these people any personal harm but i dont want them       here..........surely this is a perfectly reasonable stance to take yet       if i voice my opinions out on the street i will be locked up........                     Racism is fine. It is practiced extensively here in the United States by       some Hispanic Groups and some groups of African Americans. If you don't       jeopardize the potential for earnings of fellow countrymen, do it your       way.                     Here, in the US, the Constiotution protects our legal right to say       almost anything unless it will cause injury to others such as yelling       Fire in a theater.       I think the definition of racist is what's in question here.       I see nothing wrong with wanting to protect and maintain your country's       traditions, etc.              We have the same problem with Hispanics who sneak across our border and       want to live here as if they were citizens. They often do not know, nor       are they willing to learn, English. They drive cars without having       drivers licenses or insurance. They send their kids to our schools where       their inability to speak the language slows everything down and prevents       other children from progressing normally.              They put a huge burden on our already overstressed healthcare system.       Yet, to some, even mentioning these truths makes me a racist.              So do you then agree that American people should not be allowed to take       jobs in the US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Spain, Dubai, Hong Kong,       Singapore, Greece, and other places with large British expat       populations?       I'd be pretty angry if I was Spanish and living in a country with 14%       unemployment, but found that I couldn't get a job in a bar in Benidorm       because it was full of foreigners who couldn't even speak the local       language              There is a big difference between illegal immigrants, and people who       have the legal right to work in another country.                            Being a racist, I believe, is saying to someone I don't like your colour       or what or who you are. We let immigrants into this country to       intergrate. They took up our offer , and then took advantage of our good       nature. Now most of them steal from our country by way of benefits with       our governments permission and they have not intergrated like they       should have.              Germany persecuted the jews for a very similar reason, they were not       grateful enough to be welcomed into another land.       They wanted to have it all. Foreigners.... its on the way. P.S. I       wouldnt re-patriate you in a violent way, but you wouldnt have any money       either. One plane ticket only.       Source(s):              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
