   Carbon dioxide has dampened out this for hundreds of millions of years.   
   Biological activity had been increasing and decreasing carbon dioxide to keep   
   world wide temperatures fairly even. Only now when humans have reinjected into   
   the biosphere carbon that had been sequestered for on to billion years that the   
   temperatures are being driven outside the evolved balance.   
      
   It won't kill the planet, but it will kill many species. I wonder if homo   
   sapiens will survive?
