XPost: alt.politics.republicans, alt.sport.air-guns, ca.politics       XPost: sac.politics       From: dumb@shits.com              Danville, Pa. — A dispute between brothers led to a BB gun shooting and       felony charges for a teen, Danville police said.              Around 7 p.m. on Jan. 27, police were called to a home on Mulberry       Street for a reported fight involving two brothers where one brother       shot the other with a BB handgun, according to Officer Christopher       Bigger of the Danville Police Department.              Bigger spoke with the victim first, who was described as out of breath       and visibly upset. The victim told police that he had confronted his       brother, Warren Staley, 18, of Bloomsburg after he raised his fist and       tried to punch a female relative.              During the fight, Staley allegedly picked up a BB handgun and shot at       his brother seven or eight times. The victim said he tried to stop the       shooting, resulting in a brawl between him and Staley on the floor.       Staley then fled the home with his mother, the victim told police.              Bigger reported seeing BB wounds to the victim's left earlobe and left       wrist, both of which were red and bleeding.              The female relative Staley allegedly tried to punch told police she       witnessed the shooting, saying Staley pulled out a BB gun and shot his       brother multiple times before the two began fighting on the floor.              Another witness told police he saw the brothers fighting on the ground       and said he told Staley the altercation would not continue inside the       house.              Police found a Daisy Powerline 426 .177 caliber BB gun on the home's       kitchen floor. Police noted the gun resembled a real pistol and did not       have an orange safety tip. The BB gun was photographed and taken into       evidence.              Police learned that Staley's mother may reside in Mahoning Township.       Danville police spoke with Mahoning Township Police Chief Phil Savidge,       who went to the home where they believed Staley may have fled.              Around 9 p.m., Chief Savidge reported Staley was taken into custody.       During questioning, police say he admitted to putting his brother in a       chokehold during the fight.              Staley was charged with aggravated assault, strangulation, possessing an       instrument of crime with intent, simple assault, and harassment. He was       held in the Montour County Jail until Feb. 4 when his $5,000 monetary       bail was changed to unsecured during his preliminary hearing. Also       during the hearing, each of his charges were waived for court.              https://www.northcentralpa.com/news/teen-accused-of-shooting-brother-with       -bb-gun/article_6c5f369b-bb8d-491c-8018-1a9084752ce3.html              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
