XPost: alt.america, alt.crime, alt.politics.republicans       XPost: alt.fan.rush-limbaugh, sac.politics       From: noreply@mixmin.net              ROSEVILLE, Calif. — Police said they have recovered the large, $7,000       American flag allegedly stolen Tuesday night from Camping World RV Sales       in Roseville.              Officers reportedly identified a suspect vehicle, located it in Citrus       Heights and initiated a traffic stop Thursday morning from which they       recovered the flag, according to the Roseville Police Department. It has       since been returned to Camping World, law enforcement said.              “We are relieved we were able to recover the flag and return it to Camping       World, however, this investigation is still active and (ongoing) as no       arrests have been made at this point,” said Sgt. Nick Gaines.              Gaines said a person of interest was contacted during the traffic stop,       but their identity would not be released because the case is active. The       vehicle was identified through surveillance footage, according to police.              On Wednesday, a Camping World manager described to ABC10 what surveillance       video allegedly showed around 8:20 p.m. Tuesday (ABC10 has not seen the       footage):              One person exited a vehicle, climbed over a fence and cut a cable holding       the flag.       The flag was pulled off the pole and moved to the waiting vehicle, the       driver of which stayed behind the wheel during the alleged theft.       A license plate number is visible.       The two suspects left tools behind at the scene.       The manager said the flag, which measures 80 feet by 40 feet, is a       landmark to some in the community and wants those responsible for the       theft to be held accountable. The business is also reportedly dealing with       damage to its flagpole.              Roseville police confirmed the theft Wednesday and said it appeared two       suspects loaded the flag into a truck.              https://www.abc10.com/article/news/local/roseville/american-flag-       recovered-alleged-theft-camping-world-roseville/103-acd8938f-336d-4163-       a0ac-4fad8d0ce182              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
