   Washington County, NY (WRGB) — The Washington County Sheriff's Office   
   arrested 33-year-old Chad Niles and 34-year-old Nichole Niles on charges   
   of grand larceny in the fourth degree, a class E felony.   
      
   Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy reported that the couple reportedly received   
   $1,512 in overpaid SNAP benefits between April 1, 2022, and May 30, 2022,   
   due to unreported household income.   
      
   The arrest followed a joint investigation by the Sheriff's Office and the   
   Department of Social Services.   
      
   Chad and Nichole Niles were released on appearance tickets and are   
   scheduled to appear in the Town of Fort Edward Court at a later date.   
      
   Investigator C. Sullivan from the Washington County Department of Social   
   Services handled the case.
