Software QA Engineer

Work under the general direction of the QA Manager to maintain and execute test
 plans and scripts for functional and usability testing Run manual regression
test plans to identify bugs and defects Ability to work independently with
engineering and product management as required to follow up on any issues
identified Record and maintain the details of any bugs assigned or found in our
 Test Track bug tracking system Understand bug severity and be able to
prioritize and escalate issues

Between 3 and 5 years QA experience, ideally in a medium to large SaaS company
or in the Scholarly Publishing field An understanding of the software
development cycle and testing of web-based applications Good time management,
communication and written skills Good analytical and problem solving skills
Attention to detail Able to work under pressure and time constraints Experience
 with bug tracking systems (Test Track, Bugzilla etc) Good working knowledge of
 documentation tools such as MS Word, Excel Working knowledge of HTML
Bachelor’s degree preferred
