The Front-End Web Developer will work collaboratively within a start-up
business being formed by one of the top 50Fortune companies in the world.
Candidate will work within the engineering team along with product management
team, UX developers, & business stakeholders.
 
Key Results:
• Ability to generate working website/web application prototypes from comps
• Write source code (HTML5, XHTML, CSS3, Javascript, Angular/Polymer) needed
to support project development

• Participates in the development & implementation of moderately complex to
complex digital solutions for a cloud based software as a service solution

• Uses responsive web design & development principles to bring to life user

• Researches solutions for webpage/digital/mobile experiences
• Works closely with product owners, UX interactive designers, visual
designers, IT analysts, other web developers, project managers, vendors &
business partners to understand the design & functionalrequirements & translate
 into well-formed code
• Advocates for the end-user & always seeks to deliver quality online
experiences
• Promotes user-centered design principles & upholds online styles &
standards
• Identifies opportunities for improved online services, participates in
brainstorming & helps internal clients consider requirements & options for the
best possible solution
• Codes, tests & implements new solutions, enhancements & fixes with great
attention to detail & quality assurance for a wide range of
pages/panels/dashboards
• Serves as subject matter expert & represents working groups as needed

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree
 
Experience:
• 5+ years of previous experience in web design & development including the
programming/development of web applications
 
Specialized Knowledge/Technical Skills:
• Experience with Angular/Polymer
• Solid front-end development skills in HTML5, XHTML, CSS3, Javascript
• Experience using GitHub, Rally, Confluence
• Object Oriented JS & major frameworks: jQuery, BackboneJS, BootstrapJS,
AngularJS etc.
• Experience with website analytics tools; applying tracking code (e.g. Adobe
 SiteCatalyst)
• Successful record of translating user & business needs into relevant
solutions
• Confident working independently & comfortable working with cross-functional
 teams
• Knowledge of trending web development technologies & practices

• Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail in an environment
that requires working at a fast pace, with regular evaluation & negotiation of
