Scribus for OS/2 Warp 4 and eComStation (Scribus/2)  

 

In addition to Scribus 1.4.2 for other platforms, the OS/2 and eComStation
build includes several bugfixes for issues specific to these operating
systems, among them:  

Problems with some versions of Ghostscript have been resolved.  

Problems with Preferences files from earlier versions have been resolved.  

Scribus no longer crashes when opening ODT files or a template.  

Issues with running Scribus 1.4.x on eComStation 1.2 have been resolved.  

We strongly recommend to update to the latest Qt4 and Ghostscript versions for
OS/2 and eComStation.  

Scribus 1.4.2 for OS/2 Warp 4 and eComStation is available via Sourceforge.  

The Scribus Team is very much obliged to Paul Smedley for porting Scribus to
OS/2 and eComStation. If you want to support future builds of Scribus for

Thanks to the support from Serenity Systems (USA) and Mensys (The Netherlands)
we have been able to test Scribus on eComStation, which helped a lot with
identifying and resolving platform-specific issues.
