I have never understood the fanatical obsession with the original
airdate order which is usually arbitrary. Production order usually makes
more sense especially when observing the progress of a show. The only
exception would be if an episode is filmed out of order for some reason
(Unification Part 2 before Part 1 or Tasha Yar's appearance after her
death).

BTW, I believe the broadcast of Catspaw was delayed so it could be
broadcast the week before Halloween.
